Well, the Hatrack Young Writers' Forum is done. Finito. Over.
We probably deserved it. If you go there and look at the last post made before the board was locked, well, it's kinda obvious why. We ran to stupidity and immaturity.
This is really just . . . wow. Young Writers' has been a major feature of my life for about three years now, not long, I know, compared to some chronic Hatrack junkies. But still, a lot of what I am today I think I can trace to more positive times there. I became a lurker in the end because there wasn't much left to it.
So there's no farewell to that forum, not really, not yet. I miss it, of course, no matter what happened to it. Just gotta say this in the moment we lost it.

I quit. I was SteveRogers there. I was a member for about a month and then dropped it. It IS a shame it got shut down. Maybe if a more mature generation than my own comes around it can be revived.
