I'm the dog from Turner and Hooch (Dogue de Bordeaux).
"Once used for fighting bears, bulls, and other dogs.... Calm in termperament it makes an assured watchdog and affectionate companion that will neither judge nor criticize their owner, however awful they may be."

Used in battle by the Romans? Maybe their ancestors were, but the Boxer breed didn't even exist until the late 1800s. And they make terrible guard dogs, unless you want intruders licked to death! Posts: 1681 | Registered: Jun 2004

which is really cool - because up until I got interested in owning Great Pyrenees - the Samoyeds were my favorite breed, and I would go to dog shows just to take photos of them, etc. I must just like big, white dogs.
But I just thought it was really neat that I turned out to be a type of dog that I have long been fascinated by.

Shiba Inu. I'm kind of cool looking, but I obviously have not been neutered.
The personality really is me, though. "Affectionate with family and friends, this dog is happiest in a domestic environment, but will rise to the hunt. Amongst strangers it can be aloof, sensitive, and hard to please."

"They are perfectionists with a permanent will to please, thriving on praise, but not without sensitivity. Too intelligent to lay around the house all day, they become neurotic if left alone for long periods."

Wow this quiz has quite a few breeds (and there was only one that you guys listed I hadn't heard of), before taking it I will guess I'll be a poodle or cocker or something little and a bit yippy, but who knows.
Results, German Mittel Spitz, I think that might be what Stryker's dog is, hmm I'd never been compared to Killer before Posts: 5362 | Registered: Apr 2004
