I'm not as deep in the trenches as SteveRogers (BTW, Steve, what grade are you in? I'm 9th) - despite my taking some university courses (Pascal crap. 240 pages into the book, and I reach an explanation of how Pascal and *new* 5.25" inch floppy drives that *finally* write to floppies collaborate together).
I do need to construct a log for our "deep, psychological Lord of the Flies assignment" - and I got the awkward symbol of blood.
I can skim through 220 pages of the Faber version, but it's a little too long and boring. I read the book, all I need is a quick online eBook of the Faber version (NOT the Americanised one, specific teacher orders), so I can run a quick scan of the content for the term "blood" and write a log.
Does anyone know this online version that will save me 2 hours of time? (Which I barely have, since I want to start studying more intensively, as well as sleeping more than 4 hours a day, drinking less Earl Grey tea by 2 O'clock AM in front of the forum on Thursday nights, and beating SteveRogers to my first landmark.)
Thanks.
I *hope* to become a better lurker.
