So, our first nine have gone pretty well, but what to do for a tenth? Ideas (suitable for a student budget), anyone?

We'll be shooting in the dark without more info. If you want something different than previous dates you'll have to brief us as to your dating history.

10 and you’re asking what to do? Isn’t this past the dating and into a relationship thing yet? Not that you don’t go out and what not and have dates. I’d think it would be natural by now and you’d know what she likes to do and not do. Get what I’m saying? Or are you trying to make this something special because it’s #10? And is this #10 coming before Valentines Day? You’ve got that to worry about!!

Go star gazing in an open field. Bring a bottle of cheap wine, a Tony Bennet CD, and a quilt to snuggle in. Leave the monkey at home though.

The number ten was chosen as an arbitrary number larger than five. I'm not exactly sure what number we're on.
OK, yes, I guess we're into the relationship stage now. And I'm confused! I've never been here before! Help! Posts: 10645 | Registered: Jul 2004

I maintain the position that Valentine's Day is a silly American custom, imposed by your commercial-industrial complex, and not to be supported by sensible European males. I'll tell you on the fifteenth how well this position survives the test of battle.
Cooking, yes, good idea. I make a mean moussaka, if I say so myself.

Hummm…. Yeah. Don’t try that thing about Valentine’s Day on her if you’d like an 11th date. All men will agree with you about Valentine’s Day, but all women expect to be made special. So……. Either make her feel special or you’re going to feel not so special.

On second thought, maybe it is not a good idea to get dating advice from a bunch of guys who are sitting at home on a Saturday night. Posts: 4116 | Registered: Apr 2002

And which group would you be speaking for, Jay? All men, or all women? Cause, as a woman who feels that Valentines day is a frivolus waste of time and money, I'd like to remind you that you cant speak for everyone.

twinky, if you ever have the chance to go skating on the Ottawa canal at night, I highly recommend it. It's quieter than in the day, and there's so much space...!
And I get to do it this week!!! Posts: 8473 | Registered: Apr 2003

Dave and I have a standing joke about the local "Galleria of Jewelry" and how to make me nauseated most quickly.

Jenni is allergic to apples...to the malic acid in them, really...they hyperexcite her metabolism so that she goes mantic for about 15 min...then she crashes.
Basicaly, she gets drunk off of them, then passes out.

is she active? Maybe something like a bike ride...particularly if you have a good nature trail in your area.
Bowling can also be fun. You have a chance to talk, but you also have something else to do.
Of course, once you move to the "relationship" stage, you don't always have to "go out" to be with eachother. You can curl up on a couch and watch a DVD together.
