Happy New Year, quid. I know there's not much to celebrate right now, but I wish you, your family, and all the people of South Asia the best.

Israel is +2, Poland and Sweden is +1. Why don't come to chat, Raia? If you're celebrating with your computer, I mean.

I might come a little later... right now, I'm not supposed to be online at all, I'm trying to write a ten page paper. *sigh* Yes, this is how I'm spending my New Year's Eve.

I still have an hour. So, for those of you in 2005, are there flying cars in the future?

Yes. If by flying cars you mean cars that are being driven by speeding drunks, who are going so fast it seems like flying.

At the countdown from 2004 to 2005, I was eating breakfast at IHOP! Everyone in the restaurant counted down the last 30 seconds together. So where were you at that moment? FG

I was playing Monopoly with some friends. We knew midnight had come because the mother of the friend whose house we were at called to wish him a Happy New Year. Whereupon we looked at our watches, surprised that it was midnight already, then we all said "Happy New Year" and went back to our game. ("Happy New Year! Now give me my money!")
