No, it's all about referring to your own butt.

You mean to tell me that there IS something going on between you two!?

I swear I'm always the _last_ to know.

I had a roommate once who asked me to shave his butt.

I declined.

Why would you want to know Katharina?

Certain mysteries of the world and roommates are best left unexplored. [Eek!]

Ok, bad visuals need to stop now.

My sister had a room mate, who on finding out my husband is a massage therapist, asked "Does he have to touch people's butts?" [Roll Eyes]

That is the memory your post conjured up.

My back could sure use your husband's talent today, pooka.

(No, that's not a come on. I hurt my back last Saturday cutting wood, and it hasn't been getting better...)

Well, actually, he had a good (if gross) reason. He had a cyst on his butt, and for some reason the area around it had to be shaved. I can't remember why, honestly, but I remember thinking at the time that it made sense. Maybe one of our resident medicos can shed some light on it.

(or maybe he was just hoping that I'd be gullible, and just came up with a plausible story--maybe he really got a sick thrill from people shaving his butt).

In any case, imagine my surprise when out of the blue, my roommate approaches me, wearing only a towel, holding his razor in one hand and a can of shaving cream in the other, and says "Jake, can you shave my butt?"

He ended up getting his ex-girlfriend to do the job, as I recall.

[ROFL] Noemon. Though I recall something about a guy who had a thing that had to be packed with gauze as it healed. It apparently happened when he was sliding into home base. It was overheard from his mom at church, poor guy.

(I wrote gauss instead of gauze. Still haven't recovered from science symposium mafia).

Ergh. Ugh. Ick.

From a strictly analytical point of view, I'd have locked the bathroom door and used creative mirror positioning.

Infinitely less embarassing.

Well, as he didn't specify the new roomie under any specifics beyond "likes to touch my posterior", I declined to celebrate as I wasn't sure what the proper congratulatory references should be.

Not that I really need to know, just clarifying. [Big Grin]

A friend of mine was a lifeguard in high school and sitting around in wet clothes all day every day gave him a nasty case of what he affectionately referred to as "crotch rot."

Thankfully he never asked me for any help.
