Stupid question, I know. Besides just hitting enter after each line, I mean. I pasted something in here and it's doing it automatically now and I don't know how to make it work for other text. Any advice?

All that adjusts is indentation and alignment... I wish I had word on this machine. I reformatted a while ago, and then never found the Office Cd.

Try copying and pasting that segment in again, then just type right ontop of it and WordPad may "remember" the formatting. A kind of stop-gap solution but if you're desperate...

Is it actually double-spacing it, or putting two hard returns between each line?
I would just write it all out, then when you get on someone's computer that has Word put it into double space format and save it. If you need it double-spaced, you're going to have to do that eventually anyway.

I'm also pretty positive you can't... though you could always just download a free word processor and use that.
