Seriously. If I get spoiled here and there ISN'T a huge, emboldened spoiler warning on the thread title or in the post, someone's posterior will be whupped.

I would not dream of putting in spoilers without a very clear warning. If I feel that urge come on me after reading the book. I'll put "SPOILERS" in caps on this thread.
Honest. Don't want to reduce enjoyment of any book for anyone.
Sorry if I was being too flip.

Actually that was for everyone else, Sndrake-didn't think you would. You just had the misfortune of starting the thread

NOT REALLY A SPOILER, BUT READ AT YOUR OWN RISK
quote:The sixth installment of this magnum opus stops short with the biggest cliffhanger of King's career, but readers at the edge of their seats need only wait a few short months (Dark Tower VII: The Dark Tower) to find out how-and if-King's fictional universe will come to an end.
Makes me think I'll wait until the last book comes out to read this one.

*gasp* I realized that I haven't read Wolves of the Calla yet because Tom strongly recommended that I wait until I was done being pregnant. That's why I'm feeling so disconnected. Considering my response to Wizard and Glass, though, I think that may be a good thing. Still, its hard to wait!

I haven't had much chance to read beyond the first chapter. If my plans for the Blues Festival keep getting screwed up, I will get to read much more tonight and tomorrow.
(Van blues interfering with Blues plans.)

I'm personally impressed by King's ability to create a cliffhanger in three completely separate plotlines at once -- AND a fourth plotline that no one even realized was a plot until it was too late.
