I had recovered from my addiction to Fire Escape. Really, I had! Hadn't played it in months.
Now every time I have a few free minutes, I'm bouncing babies on a trampoline to their tearful mom.
In my defense, I do think the game is very good at helping me to develop some useful skills. Forcing the adrenaline down, and NOT reacting to the baby in freefall (lest you drop the one(s) farther along the bounce sequence); moving quickly to catch that one after the other has bounced that precious third time; dealing both with patterns (one baby, two babies, three babies; pause; one baby, two babies, three babies . . .) and with the exceptions (two in quick sequence! ); NOT looking at my score, which always throws me off.
And I will break 60. Maybe tomorrow . . .

Oh, my. I remember playing a version of that game in first grade. Except there you had to bounce the babies into an ambulance.
