This one is for you fugu [Smile]

Oh, and before we get going, I'm going to kill off the potentially Dobies:

"Are you an Australian?"
"Bist du Austrian?"
"Are you a Raelian?"
"Are you an Ostrich?"
---

So this school asks 25 economics questions, and provides 4 possible answers for you to agree with. It is somewhat biased toward the "Austrian School" of economic thought, being hosted by self-avowed Austrian School believers (who "helpfully" provide links to educate yourself and answer appropriately). Also the answers are fairly specific, and I found myself believing a premise of an answer, but disagreeing somewhat with the subsequent conclusion. Also, the Socialist answers are more or less a mish mash of the Socialist movement, with many of the answers taken more from socialist slogans than from any more scholarly (if it exists) marxist economic thought.

With all of the above disclaimers, I still think it is fun, educational, and a great way to start a new debate.

I was not surprised to be as Keynesian as I was, but was surprised that I was almost as much Chicagoan. I had 2 socialist answers, and maybe one Austrian answer.

I guess you can call me old-school [Smile]

EDIT: Err, and here is the link:

What is strange is that I have been having a random conversation about this for the last couple days with a older guy who works in another department who saw me reading Wyrms in the cafeteria at lunch and actually knew who OSC was.

He directed me to this very site!

I was mostly Chicago, followed closely by both Keynesian and Austrian (Keynesian edging out Austrian).

[Smile]

My specific total was 52/100.

I read one and a half questions and then my eyes glazed over and I went to see if there was a new Strong Bad email. There was.

I read part of the first question and got bored.
Too many big words.

Not surprising at all, though a good number of the questions I could find no answer I agreed with, and even the best wasn't particularly good.

My economics aren't particularly school aligned.

36/100... So I guess I'm not Austrian. [Smile]

Mostly Keynesian/Neoclassical, followed by Chicago and brief smattering of Socialism and Austrian - that's me, the eclectic economist.

I agree with Fugu though - most of the answers I chose were the best there, but I had problems with them. (All a bit extreme really).
