I'm totally thinking Marianne Dashwood looks a whole lot like our Anneke. Could it be one of her many look-alike sibs?

Marianne Dashwood is Anneke, I think/thought. On second thought, I'm less sure.

There's another sense in which Marianne Dashwood is Anneke, of course . . .

Anneke is in Taiwan now, I think, but she has got about a dozen sibs who all look a good bit like her, and I speculated that perhaps one of them is Marianne Dashwood, especially since Anneke identifies with that character so much (as do I).
