Site redesign. Metacritic was one of my most visited sites; the user interface was second to none for convenience and intuitiveness, it loaded quickly, was easy on the eyes, and had an overall good feeling. Their new design throws it all out the window; everything is big, blocky, and requires many more clicks to get to the information you need. They also removed several key features, such as DVD information and reviews of older games. All this without so much as a beta.
Toad=nonplussed. I can't see how any site designer could look at this and see an improvement. Feedback has been overwhelmingly, universally negative, with several people saying that they will stop using the site.
On the plus side, it can generate more ad revenue, and has better facebook and twitter integration.
What do y'all think of the new layout? I'd also like some recommends for alternate sites, if you're into it.

I didn't initially like RT, as it seemed a bit cluttered, but it's miles ahead of the current MC. Gamerankings has become better for aggregated game reviews as well.
