I have a question....my parents copied files using the Windows Backup File Utility to transfer some data to their computer in MI.

However, it appears that their computer in MI doesn't have the same program, and cannot read the files.

The files are in a .bkf format. I need a program that can read that for the so their data isn't unless.

Anyone have any ideas?

Can you download the backup software from Microsoft's website?

I looked quickly and didn't see it. The post I read when I searched said that in XP HE you have to install it from the disk during installation.

I have no idea if that is true though, and I don't use that program...ever.
