TropicalDepression10 is headed your way. And considering how fast HurricaneHumberto spun up from being less than a TropicalDepression...

One pre-hurricane discussion (which later included Dean and Felix), then as many as needed to attract the attention of Hatrackers who live within in a storm's projected path.

I'm in the projected path. And I certainly don't need another hurricane thread to know that, much less 'as many as needed'.

I work at a bank and everyone in the area is freaking out and keeping glued to the weather channel. I expect some moderate flooding but I don't think its going to get to be more than a tropical storm at most.

TD10 has been spinning off tornados since before it became a depression, so it's a bit more dangerous than just some rain and moderate winds.

TD10 has made landfall at EglinAirForceBase in Florida and is currently moving northwestward, though the NationalHurricaneCenter still expects TD10 to travel westward along the coast to Mississippi. They have also discontinued the TropicalStorm Warning for the GulfCoast: ie the NHC believes that the TropicalDepression will not strenghten into a TropicalStorm.

I appreciate it so much, aspectre. My family was in Bay St. Louis during Katrina. Any knowledge is good.
