I think I saw that on Mr. Wizard's World. It is a very cool trick. I hope he does one where he puts then whole world into a Klein Bottle

I'd be interested in seeing the diagram for how one would slice that without folding (say, with an X-acto knife). It would help me translate the one-dimensional cuts to the three-dimensional world.

Its equivalent to making two series of zig-zag cuts across both halves of the card. When you're doing the last cutting step you're cutting the parts that would be holding the middle together.
