I'm interested to see if this ground penetrating radar can be used from space. Can they attach it to a satellite? Or must it be used on the ground?

Will this help spur drive for a manned mission to Mars? Does NASA have their hands on it?

(Didn't they invent this in one of the Jurassic Park movies with the radar bullet thing being shot into the earth and they found the Raptor? Or was it already invented?)
