...last time I _ever_ attempt to edit a post while zonked out on "Tussin DM"...here's a link to samples from the Harry Gregson-Williams score for the film!

Listen here...

While not the complete themes, I think the clips sound gorgeous. Early favorites of mine include "The Wardrobe", "Lucy Meets Mr. Tumnus", and "The Stone Table". They just sound so wonderfully Narnian.

Definitely going to get it.

I guess I should re-read the book too, huh? I haven't read it since fourth grade...

They offer a really nice paperback that has all the Narnia stories in one book - read it recently myself, a great group of stories

Yeah I was wondering what happened to the thread.

Fantastic music for the soundtrack, though I'll need to hear it all before I'm really impressed. The Narnia theme that Mr. Tumnus plays is perfect.

The Battle music has be wondering though.

Well, I'm disappointed.

The Disney website gave the official soundtrack a release date of next week.

Both Amazon.com and my local Sam Goody store say it'll be out December 13th...several days _after_ the film is released.

I have loved all the Chronicles of Narnia since I was a child, and re-read them regularly. In fact I'm reading The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe to my kids now. They've been read so often that my original set has fallen apart and I'm trying to find a new hardback set. But I so dislike the way they've re-ordered the books according to chronological order, instead of publishing order. It ruins all the surprises that way. That's the problem with the all-in-one-book format: wrong order. And I can't find any editions that don't have numbers printed on the spines (the wrong numbers!).

CAN'T WAIT FOR THE MOVIE! I've been waiting for a GOOD film version of this for years!
