Work is having a somethingsomething, and my boss wants me to represent our group in the Two Truths and a Lie game (have I mentioned how warm and fuzzy the Boy Scouts is?). I am not sure why I chosen, except that I seem to always have interesting information at my fingertips, which apparently qualifies me to make up stuff.
Little do they know that it is because of Hatrack. So, I am soliciting help.
The two truths need to be things that are not commonly known about me. I have one - I have been published in a scientific journal. I need one more truth, and a lie.

ok, this isn't where it should go, but did you email me last week, it was some photo sight thing or something, and entirely in spanish (I think), had your name, but no actual email address visible. I didn't want to mention it till you were back from Spain.
I agree with KQ on the lie, not sure about another truth though.

You're very sweet to think that I was that adventurous. The most outrageous thing I did in high school was completely space taking the PSAT. I didn't know existed until all the other juniors got their scores back. Don't ask me where I was - I don't know.
I was trying to think of a fabulous lie. Maybe that I once starred in a traveling production of Miss Saigon.
breyerchic: *blush* Yes, that was me. It was entirely by accident. I was trying to click cancel, but it was all in Spanish, and instead I sent invitations to everyone in my Yahoo address book. Hatrackers, old friends, old professors, MY BOSS, job contacts, guys from years ago, job contacts, the entire Dallas 12th ward list. I got a firestorm of responses, including a couple from old friends delighted to see I am still alive, so those were nice. But in general, it was very embarassing, and I apologize. On my list of things to do now that I have returned, I am going to write everyone who wrote me and explain. *wince* Sorry. *hangs head in shame*

I think my boss would be a little too happy about that one. I got an e-mail this morning saying he was happy I'm back and hoping I met cute guys while I was there.

did you see my thing about the email? I can send it to you if you want, or if you really did it, ok, it just seemed suspicious.

I answered the e-mail above in an edit. I apologize again.
It is kind of creepy, but not really. He goes to my church, has a daughter my age, and it's really like family here. It worries him that I'm not married. I don't mind, although I don't answer. I talked about the Louvre instead.

oh ok, that works, I was just a bit worried maybe you had loggged in on at a cafe or something and someone hacked you.

Hmm...I think the one about horses could be the lie. Am I right?
ketchupqueen: My favorite living author bought dinner for me and my friends once. Do you think that would work for the truth?

So apparently, Kat really is brilliant, knowing the one that could be the most easily true, is false. Oh and the brother is actually a half brother.
I need a good fangirl day, now I have to decide who to be a fan of.

I did sort of cheat - I didn't think I'd ever seen you post about horses, and figured you would have mentioned it.
I was a little afraid to say that, because you could have started the I Love Showing Horses thread and I'd missed it somehow. *points back up to "missed taking the PSAT"*

I hadn't read it 'til now. Kat, that's an awfully good truth, but I'm still going to put in my suggestion. . . you've traveled all over the country and to Europe to visit over 100 people you met on the internet. Posts: 7954 | Registered: Mar 2004

They don't, but one of the few facts known about me is that I have quirky friends. I would have to have met them somewhere.

Okay, two guesses, so I'll reveal myself: I am not allergic to Brazil nuts, although I am mildly allergic to their cousin, the hazelnut.
The other two are true. Flaco Jimenez wished me luck on my first pregnancy when I met him at the State Fair of Texas. Posts: 21182 | Registered: Sep 2004

Daryl Sabara. His twin brother was also there, but is not as recognizable. Their mother was the monitor for our visitation with our father. I've known them since they were about two.

I'll play, although I don't know how easy/hard it will be to guess about me.
I joked around with George Foreman. I dressed in my cap and gown for my Physics AP test. I participated in the Double Dare obstacle course (the one from the Nickelodeon show).
