She's too modest to brag, so I'll do it for her. Yozhik got hired as a children's librarian at a local library.

Are you going to school part-time then, Belle? Most of the MLIS students in my program were part-time, and they finished their degrees in 3 yrs. or so, but they often had some kind of library job even before they graduated.

Yozhik - I'm finishing up my bachelor's, not even in the MLIS program yet.
It will actually be more than 4 years, because the program I want to attend is only offered part time - they only allow you to take 6 hours per semester. I'll be finished with the bachelor's, if all goes as planned, in two years - I'll graduate Spring 2007. Then enter the MLIS program Fall 2007.
I'm determined to enjoy myself now, though. I'm trying not to continuously look ahead, but have fun with the courses I'm taking now.
Still, I do hope you enjoy the job - sounds wonderful!
