Check this out. It's a project that is collecting love letters between people who have different native languages. E-mail included. Anyway, quids, I immediately thought of you.

Huh. I thought that the writer of a letter holds copyright -- so how can they be asking for both sides of a correspondence without making that caveat clear?

Anyway, it looks like they're looking for love letters where the communication is not the greatest, and yeah, that definitely lets us out. He's so fluent in English that it's the language he thinks in.
Dreams in, no. I haven't yet figured out what language it is, and it may depend on the dream. (He's fluent in 4 1/2 languages.) He talks in his sleep, you see. And has entire conversations at times. In some language I don't understand.

Raia dear, it logically follows that if I am dating someone who speaks a different native language from me, then I, in turn, have a different native language from that person. Since that person happens to be you, then we both count
Though personally, becuase your grasp of english is as good as any native speaker, I feel the point is rather moot I think it is posible to have more than one 'native' language, in which case I believe you would count as a native english speaker. A bilingual native english speaker at that
quote:Who told you that? She's totally not pretty at all! No offense, Alcon... [Wink]
None, taken. Though I will have to disagree with you, as she is most decidedly gorgeous

Ah, but Alcon, pretty and decidedly gorgeous are two comletely different things.
Cor, I've thought about it, believe me. But since it's in the middle of the night, I'm usually too tired to care.

Maybe it's not real language. My husband talks in his sleep a lot-- in disconnected, non-sensical, or incoherent words. I did record him once. He almost wet his pants laughing when he heard himself.
