We have a dog show in about 15 days, and today he eats a red ink pen. His forelegs are hot pink, it looks like he's wearing lipstick, and he has a few splashes of color on the rest of his (white) body.
I gave him a good scrub, and some of it came off, but he is still decidedly roseate. (thanks for the nice word, Fyfe)
Anyone have any ideas on what will get this stuff off? It's permanant ink, too.

Yes, Jen. Rather fitting, don't you think, that of all the colors to dye his hair, Oscar Wilde would choose pink?

waterproof eye make up remover! (not that I've ever removed permanent marker from a cat's paws the day before a show or anything )

My boyfriend was a doghandler, and he says, "Use rum... its non-toxic, and will even add some shine to your dog's coat. To clean the dog, rub some rum into the dog's fur, and then take a soft piece of cloth and rub firmly from the spine down to his chest... do the same thing for the rest of the body... basically, you want to go _with_ the flow of the coat... if you go against it, the color will go further into the coat." hope this helps.
~edited to say:~ and DEFINATELY dont use nail polish remover!!! it can damage your dog's coat, and you probably dont want to do that with a show coming up.
