quote: You were born to sell. You also consider yourself a true patriot when it comes to your country. Personally, you enjoy interacting with young minds, and giving them the advice and direction that’ll take them down the right paths in life. You’re comfortable speaking with a prospect’s parents and friends. Your honesty, integrity and human understanding brings them over to your point of view...
If this is you, here’s an excellent opportunity to become a full-time Recruiter in the Army National Guard
Later on in the ad it does say you must be an active or retired member of the Guard. I just find it scarey that the guard is advertising for people "Born to Sell" in order to convice kids to join.
Has the ongoing war in Iraq dropped recruitment so low they are getting desparate?

I'm not sure they've changed their way of going about recruiting. It's always been a job you have to sell and they've always done so.

Hmm, I know a guy who joined in May of last year, and now when he thinks he might get sent to Iraq he wants to get a job at Wal-Mart. He figures if he has a "steady" job they won't take him. Sure.. they take doctors, lawyers, people with wives and kids.. but they won't take him because he works at Wal-Mart stocking shelves. *laugh*
But I do hope he doesn't get sent. :/
