Do you ever get so incredibly fixated on stressing out that even when all the stressful things should be over, you just can't let go of it?
I'm essentially through with finals. There's not much I can do to improve my grades at this pont; all I have left is a paper due Friday, which is actually coming along quite nicely. But I can't seem to stop harping on things like, "Augh, it's only a C+...it would be a B if I could just get one more point!" Or "I'm never going to get into a good grad school!"
I've never had trouble with grades before; this is the first time I haven't been able to just breeze through classes with A's. It's really getting to me, and I hadn't realized how much until just now. I know this happens a lot to students who find high school extremely easy. How do you guys handle it?

I've always handled it by not trying. You can't fail if you never tried, right? Not that I'd go that route if I were you.
Seriously though, college is about a great many things, very few of which are what you learn in class. A C+ here and there won't make a difference in the long run. People have always made too big a deal out of grades. Have fun, pass, enjoy your classes and enjoy your friends. The rest will fall into place. Honestly, it *is* that simple.
And if, worst comes to worst, an opportunity slips by because your grades honestly aren't good enough it doesn't mean that the opportunity is gone, it'll just take longer to get there. Contrary to popular opinion, not all opportunities only knock once.
