I think the main problem people have is the numerous bugs with Microsoft, ie: the blue screen of death and how programs sometimes shut down for no apparent reason.

And here I thought people were complaining about how they abuse their near-monopoly in the operating systems market to assert control in other areas.

Because research showed that there was 17% less throwing-the-whole-damn-thing-out-the-window-ness when the screen was blue as opposed to red.
