Anyone belong to an organization that has a policy on ownership of Intellectual Property? I just need a sample that would cover the following cases:
1) The author is the owner of the intellectual property -- the organization has not rights to it.
2) The organization is the owner of the intellectual property -- individuals have no rights to it.
3) The organization and authors share the rights. This is the default -- projects undertaken by the organization involving specific authors/participants who jointly share the rights with the overall org.
Thanks for any ideas.

We were just discussing this in school. (I teach, and my position is being deleted. My teaching partner and I wanted to write up what we have done with our program, particularly a simulation where the classroom is a town)
Apparently, there is a law that states that anything created in a school by a teacher is the property of the school. So, I would love to have more info on this as well.

saxon -- you may have been joking, but you have a right to publish any contract to which you are a party (provided the contract itself allows it).
