I just wanted to write a letter of thanks. Not sure if OSC reads this but I wanted to put it out there anyways.
I've been reading your books for decades. As a child I fell in love with EG and later the ES series. I've read a lot of your books throughout the years. Some of them I've enjoyed a lot (enchantment/postwatch/worthing saga), while others not so much (women of genesis).
A few days ago I was in a bad mood and unable to sleep. I was dealing with personal issues. Finally frustrated, I gave up on sleep and decided to reread Enchantment for the first time in over 5 years on a whim.
Suddenly something inside me changed. Reading your book brought me happiness. It brought me longing. It gave me an indiscribable feeling. My mind was at peace for that moment even though nothing in my life seemed to change. I feel like I'm not doing justice to my feelings with just words. I just don't have the vocabulary.
Anyways, I just wanted to say thank you for writing all those books. Thank you for being a part of my life. I'm really glad I read those books. Even though I have never met you, you have changed my life. Thank you!
