I was looking over OSC's bibliography, and I was wondering what his hardest to find works are?

I'm a big fan of used bookstores, and I usually look at the OSC collection, but there are quite a few things that I've never seen. Just focusing on novels, some of the following come to mind:

Ainge
Saintspeak
Listen, Mom and Dad

Picking up his short stories is easy because of his anthologies (which I love).

I read Saintspeak in a library in Utah once. The premise of it is that OSC was visited by the dead Ambrose Bierce and given a bunch of new, Mormon-specific additions to the Devil's Dictionary.

Some funny stuff, my favorite being something like:

Humbled: A word used by Mormons to mean exactly the same thing the rest of the world means when they say proud. "I'm very humbled to be asked to speak about this today."

They had Ainge, too, but when I realized it pretty much was was it purported to be--a biography of basketball player Danny Ainge--I realized I would never be able to say I read everything by Orson Scott Card.

Once upon a time, I was excited to have a copy of the anthology "Feed the Baby of Love" is in, which I've often considered his best short work. Now, thanks to the new anthology, everybody's finally able to get to it, but I don't hear it getting as much attention as it really ought to be.

Once, I found a copy of the trade paperback edition of Hot Sleep with the ridiculous cover that Card talks about in the afterward of The Worthing Saga.

I wonder why OSC wrote Ainge.

To balance that out, I wanted to post a copy of my favorite OSC cover, a painting of Qing-Jao tracing woodgrain lines on the floor. It's from one of the foreign editions, I think. Anybody know where that painting is on the interwebs? It used to be up at philoticweb.net years ago--I think that's where I first saw it.

The other cover that people like to point to and laugh at is the cover they use for Ender's Game in Israel:

To be completely fair, that cover of Hot Sleep is somewhat congruent with some of the content in the book [Smile]

Yup. The publisher of Ender's Game in Israel stuck the Enterprise on the cover.
