** Slight spoilers **

So I got an awesome paper assignment the other day. I have to write a paper about what would have happened if the Aztecs had won the conflict with Spanish. So naturally, my first thought was Pastwatch. It's not exactly what the premise of the book is, but I was thinking I could definitely use it as a starting point.

Unfortunately I left my copy at home. And the abstract is due next week. So I was wondering if anyone would be excellent enough to recap the main points that were changed when they went back. It doesn't have to just be the Aztecs (heck, I don't even remember if they went back to the Aztecs). Just some of the technologies and stuff. It's been forever since I've read it. I'll be able to get my copy before I actually have to write the paper, I just need some general ideas for the abstract.

Thank you very much in advance!

I don't think it was specifically the Aztec's that "won" if I remember correctly, because the Aztec's were too cruel. I think, basically, that the idea was how to avoid slavery and end human sacrifice at the same time, and to do that they needed to end human sacrafice in Native America, and then have the Native American's spread that back to Europe.
