Was there someone in that series whose only knack was finding other peoples knacks?

Well, you could say that Alvin had that knack. After all the place where he was born and trained as a blacksmith drew a a huge population of people with knacks all into the same town.

But otherwise, no.

Wow, you've just sort of come out of nowhere. Mind if I ask another question? (I need to make a new thread, record the answer in MS Word, and delete the thread by dawn for unnameable reasons, though.) It's not really about you, or you're work, but something you said (or wrote?) a while back is what made me think of it in the first place.
