Doubt it. It's a EU issue, and the EU has nothing to do with American "Civilisation" or, in France's case, this "war that's being watched".

I don't see how you can say it is peripheral to the war on terror. I suspect the column will be along the lines of "Europe is finally realising that there is a subset of Moslems who are at war with our civilisation, and will take any excuse to attack us."
