I was all set to go to bed at 10pm last night, because I had a big meeting this morning... So I decide to read a little bit of Xenocide... and BAM, it's 3:30am.

I'm fried, and it's all your fault.

Yeah, i find myself right now re-reading the ender's series during class while i should be paying attention...it's just the books are much more exciting than digital logic and physics.

I have done that with a lot of books, including OSC, and "Dictionary of Word Origins" by John Ayto (I'm not kidding).

My father had never read a book in his life unless it was a tech manual until I gave him Enders Game about 10yrs ago.He stayed up all night two nights in a row to finish it.

Somehow I think you're exaggerating.

My social studies teacher yelled at me to stop reading in class in seventh grade until he saw the author, and said it was ok. That was strange for me.

Thats a interesting teacher.
I finshed Ender's game in a day and started reading it again almost right after I finshed.

Gee . . . if I had a nickel for every story that started out that way (including my own) . . .

"I had this important [insert event here] the next day and I thought I'd read just a few pages before I went to bed . . ."

And the rest, as we all know all too well, is history.

My seventh grade math teacher confiscated my book once. Wasn't OSC, but GRRR.

on my vacation to hawaii I surfed all day and reread enders game 3 times in the 2 weeks I was there.

I did that 3 times with Ender's Game and once with Lost Boys, decided to just read the first chapter quick before going to bed and next thing I knew I was being yanked back into reality as I finished the book around 5 or 6 in the morning. I have finnally learned never to start a book in the evening.

Orson's books should come with a warning.

WARNING: May Cause You To Read Until The Peak Hours Of The Morning.
