And me? I'll just go where I'm told and sign whatever is thrust in front of me unless it says "By Tad Williams" on the cover.
Mr. Card, have you signed anything other than products that originally come from trees?

He would probably sign your fruit loops box if you asked him nicely.

Fruit Loops boxes come from trees.

I have signed shirts, but it's very hard - they have to be stretched just so, and even then the point of the Sharpee snags and makes my signature jumpy.

I have occasionally signed on plastic, but the ink will never truly bond with the surface, so I advise people against it.

I have signed occasional patches of human skin, almost always attached to a living person, but I don't like doing it, mostly because people tend to be sweaty and then my hands don't feel clean afterward.

Of course, in a deep philosophical sense, don't all things ultimately come from trees?

Human skin...coming from trees? I'm sorry, I fail to see the connection there. [Confused]

Almost always? I'm almost afraid to ask...

All (non-plant) living things eat plant life, or eat something that ate plants, or eat something that ate something that ate something that ate plants, etc.

I suspect that's what OSC meant. [Dont Know]

Wasn't there a diaper signing incident one time? Ask Papa Moose. [Wink]

The inside or the outside of the diaper?

or more importantly: clean or dirty diaper?

I scratched my name in baby poop with my finger.

Oh, no, wait, that was a nightmare.

Yes, I've signed a plastic diaper surface.

But truly, truly I prefer signing published works authored or edited by me ... <grin>. I hope we aren't going to start a contest to see what is the weirdest thing somebody can get me to sign. Because if that starts, then I'll just stop signing anything.

Which is probably a good idea. Right now, I believe the rarest state of the "Iron Man" comics is UNsigned.
