Have any of you done 1,000 Ideas in an Hour with OSC? It is a wonderful experience. I've taken this method and used in the classroom. I thought you'd enjoy this story created by my 2nd graders.
We only had a half hour, though, so this is the beginning. We'll continue tomorrow with "What Happens Next"
The story thus far is as follows:
Once upon a time, there was a spy who lived in a nursing home. He was 200 years old. His wife was dead. She had been a witch. She made her husband so he would live a long time.
The spy’s name was Fred Scott. He was a sports hero. When he played basketball, he had a terrible accident and broke his leg. Now he has to be in a wheelchair. After he broke his leg, the mayor hired him to work as a spy. Fred wanted to help people, so he took the job.
One night, he saw some thieves on the security cameras. They were stealing the grandmas!

What a great story! Too bad I wasn't there in the session - now I can't use the ideas myself. I can just hear them in a producers' meeting in Hollywood, trying to come up with a motive for Grandma-stealing. "They have, like, this special gene that lets them live for a long time, so they're being stolen for genetic experiments!" "No, no, listen, a drug cartel has been making the grandmas swallow balloons full of cocaine, and now they want them back, only the grandmas are constipated all the time and can't pass them, so ..." "No, you idiot, what would you call that movie, 'The Constipated'? I think the grandmas all have rich relatives and they're being held for ransom. Standard kidnapping plot. And no, don't even open your mouth if you're thinking that this is a pervert who's taking them to a love shack!"

Maybe it's an escape plot, and the "thieves" were actually hired by the grandmas to spring them from the nursing home.
Or maybe it's some wacked out old folks liberation front that is trying to free the grannies the way PETA types free lab animals. Imagine the next morning, all of the grannies found, dead of exposure, in the woods behind the nursing home.

It is the government, or some sort of group of rogue agents and old mystics who beleive that some of the Grandmas may also be witches like the one who created Fred Scott. So now they are steeling the Grandmas to get the Grandmas to make a new crop of in human spies for this group to use.

Maybe they kidnappers are time travelers from a future society that reveres its ancestors, and considers our society's treatment of the elderly to be a crime against humanity? They're saving their ancestors from irrelevance and isolation.
Or maybe they've lost the secret of how to brew a really nice cup of tea, and are hoping that the grandmas, under torture of course, will give up the goods.

Here's the complete story. I hope you like it!

One night, he saw some thieves on the security cameras. They were stealing the grandmas! The thieves loaded the grandmas onto trucks and drove away. Fred rounded up the grandpas. All the men dressed up like grandmas.
The next night, the thieves stole the dressed-up grandpas. The thieves wanted all the grandmas from the nursing home to make cookies and knit underwear. Then the thieves could sell the things the grandmas made.
The young people working at the nursing home saw thieves stealing the dressed-up grandpas. They ran out. The young people beat the thieves off with pillows. The thieves got away. Only Fred Scott was on their truck.
Fred Scott helped the grandmas escape. He called 911 from the bad guys’ base. The grandmas karate-chopped their way through the bad guys to the police.
