James Maxey's first novel "Nobody Gets the Girl" has been purchased by Phobos Books and will be released in the fall of 2003 as their first novel. More information about the book can be found at the Phobos website or at James Maxey's own website, www.nobodygetsthegirl.com.

James writes: "In many ways I owe publication of this novel directly to my Boot Camp experience. It was at Boot Camp that Card pitched the Phobos contest, which I won later that year with my story "Empire of Dreams and Miracles," which gave me the foot in the door I needed to get to know the editors there. For what it's worth, I give thanks to Card on my acknowledgement page in the novel."
