        I didn't read every book; I didn't see every movie or tv show; I certainly did not hear every cd. But I did read, see, and hear my share, and I offer my comments in case some of you might want to heed my recommendations. And keep in mind that this is a review of what I read, saw, heard, and thought in ‘98 — some of the works I will review here were created earlier, and are included because this is the year in which I first encountered them.
